HOW TO CREATE YOUR INVITATION:

Once you have logged in and loaded your function on the function database, you can prepare your invitation to send:

      Plain Messages:

If you plan to send a plain e-mail message, do the following:

  • Open a new plain message in your e-mail program.
  • Copy the link provided when you activated your function and paste it in your e-mail body.

Eg. http://www.functionrsvp.co.za/functiondb/userfunctions_view.php?editid1=1

NB! - Don't use this link, it's only an example.  Your function will have a unique number at the end.

  • Now send the message with the personal invitation details to your guests.
  • They can then click on the link (or copy and paste it in their internet browser if it's not hyperlinked) and complete their RSVP details.
  • When you log in to your account, you will see all your functions, as well as the guest's RSVP.

    HTML Messages:

To give your invitation a professional look, you can create a .jpg invitation and then add it to a HTML e-mail message.

  • Create your invitation in your favourite photo editor or graphic design program. Make sure the picture is not to large.  This will avoid long download time. Go  for a max. of 750px in width. Feel free to contact us for a quote to create an invitation for you.
  • Remember to add the RSVP date and all details about the function
  • Also add a button or text "Click here to RSVP Online".
  • Insert the picture in a new HTML e-mail message.
  • Now choose insert / picture from the menu and paste the supplied link for your function in the URL.
  • Send the e-mail to yourself to check if it comes back correctly and click the link to ensure it opens the correct link and function details.
  • Now send the invitation to all your guests..

Tip:  If people reply directly to you by phone or other way, use the link provided to load their RSVP details.  This way you'll have all the info in one place.
